Please Take A Moment To Read Over The Terms & Conditions Of Rental

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

Check-in/out Times

 

  • Check in time is 4pm – 8pm on day of arrival. If the apartment is ready before this our key holder will ring or text you to advise you can check in earlier. This all depends if we have guests checking out that morning.
  • Arrivals between 2200 & 0800 midweek = €25 addtional fee
  • Arrivals at the weekend Saturday & Sunday nights between 2000 & 0800 = €25 additional fee  
  • Check out Time is 11am (or by arrangement)
  • We are unable to provide any luggage storage facilities for those arriving on earlier flights.
  • It is essential you contact our key holder once you arrive in Malaga Airport to inform them your flight has arrived, either by text or phone call (Key Holder contact details will be forwarded to you closer to your stay)
  • On Arrival at the Marina and hand over of keys a security deposit of €250 is payable to our key holder in cash – This is refunded back to you via Electronic transfer to your account.

 

  • RefundsAll Deposits are Non – Refundable.

Holiday cancellation Insurance is not included in the rental and should you have to cancel your booking for whatever reason a refund will only be made if Marina Comfort (Del Sol Properties) can re-let the accommodation for the period concerned. We strongly recommend you take out cancellation Insurance.

If full payment made - Refunds will depend on how close to arrival and the likelihood of the Apartment being re-booked and if rates had to be reduced due to last minute lets.

A minimum cancellation fee applies €65.

Cancellation up to 8 weeks prior to stay Full refund minus €65

Cancellation 7 - 3 weeks prior to stay 40% refund

No refunds for cancellation 2 weeks or less prior to stay.

 

 

Security

 

  • We ask you to be always vigilant and lock all doors, patio doors & windows when going out. We regret we can not be liable for any items lost or stolen.

 

  • There is a security safe for your convenience and Marina Comfort (Del Sol properties) or their agents take no responsibility for their contents. We recommend Travel Insurance in all these cases. There is a €50 deposit required for the safe key payable to our key holder and is refunded on return of key. Please email us in advance if you wish to use the safe so we can organise for our key holder to bring the key on arrival. If you decide later in the week to take the safe there will be a call out charge.

 

  • Lost Keys can lead to lost passports/money etc. Locksmiths cost approx €150 and this would cause additional delays and expense to your holiday.

 

  • Children are very welcome but we would ask you to be extra vigilant especially on the stairs and never leave children unsupervised on the terrace.

 

Car Parking

 

  • Cars are generally not necessary in this location due to the numerous local facilities. There is NO private car parking space provided with either apartment. In peak season in particular car parking can be a problem. There is on street parking when you can find a spot which at the moment is free, otherwise its underground or surface Municipal car parking which is more expensive about €1.30 per hr or €13 for 24 hrs Cars are parked at owners own risk and the owners of Marina comfort will not accept any responsibility for any damage or theft. The public transport system is excellent & cheap & taxis are numerous.

 

Supplies

 

  • As with all self catering type holidays your first stop should be the local supermarket to stock up on basic supplies for your stay. IE Water, milk, tea, coffee, toiletries etc etc. OPENCOR supermarket in the Marina is a late night supermarket open till about 2am.

 

  • For weekly stays a set of towels per person are provided. A washing machine is provided if you wish to use it. Alternatively we can provide additional clean towels at a cost. Your beds are fitted with all clean linen at the start of your rental and the same changeable service is available if you require additional linen etc. again at an additional cost. For two week stays a change of linen & towels are provided for you to use as and when you require them.

 

  • Towels are for use in the apartment. Beach towels are not provided.

 

  • You have to dispose of all your rubbish/ waste in to the Municipal bins provided by the community which are located near by. (Across the road) We recommend you do so on a daily basis. Especially during the summer months. All waste must be removed from the apartment on check-out

 

  • All Dishes/Pots Utensils etc must be cleaned and put away, the dishwasher must be emptied and any food contents in the presses or fridge removed on check-out.

 

  • Cooker Top & Oven to be cleaned of all food residue.

 

  • Anything broken must be replaced or it will be taken from your security deposit.

 

  • Any fake tan / sun tanning lotions / Make-up / Henna Tattoo Stains that cannot be removed from the linen & towels will need to be replaced and this will effect your security deposit.

 

General

 

  • There is a SKY box in the apartment with some free to view English channels but we recommend if you have SKY TV at home to bring your own SKY card if you plan on watch your soaps etc while away.

 

  • No Stag or Hen Parties catered for.

 

  • You are liable for any damages to furniture and contents during your stay. We would ask you to report any breakages if you cannot get it replaced.

 

  • The Patio windows are covered with a UV plastic Film under no circumstances should this be cleaned with anything abreshive as it will harm the UV film and is very costly to get repaired.

 

  • HOT & COLD AIR CONDITIONING –

 

If the air con is turned on it will work throughout the apartment. You cannot set it to work only in the lounge area and not in the bedroom.

 

The Unit has been pre-set as follows:

MAY TO October – The Temperature is 20 Degrees (+ or – 1 Degree)

November TO APRIL – The Temperature is 24 Degrees (+ or – 1 Degree)

 

It is not adjustable and is timed for 2 hour intervals. For example: You press a switch – the air con turns on for a 2 hour period. Then it automatically switches off.

After that time is has to be manually re-set for a further 2 hour interval and so on. It will not function correctly if doors and windows are left open.

 

  • Weather conditions can change very quickly i.e. heavy rain/strong winds etc. You are strongly advised to retract the sun canopy when you go out in case of weather changing otherwise serious damage will be caused to the canopy. All damages will be the responsibility of the tenant and we don’t want that.

 

  • We would ask you to be respectful to your neighbours and keep noise and music levels to an acceptable level.

 

  • Smoking is permitted but we would request you do so outside on the terrace out of respect for non smokers who may be checking in after you.

 

  • Noise Levels outside – Depending on the time of year & time of day, noise levels vary. Nightclubs, bars & restaurants in the Port in general are open all night during the peak season months. The Bars/ Nightclubs themselves are not noisy but it’s the people leaving these places by foot in the early hours that can cause this noise problem. Unfortunately we have no control over this aspect of things.

 

  • Due to inherent delays in getting anything repaired we cannot guarantee to get anything fixed with in a specific time scale unlike at home, But we endeavour to do our best.
